Happy 4th of July!!!
we are carrying on many traditions of our families today- we are going to the parade, having friends over, making homemade ice cream, going to a Bar-B-Q, and of course the FIREWORKS!!!
It's summer and that means swimming for the Hoyt's. Marlie is doing great! Jackson has improved tons from last year, and Regan, well Regan is five and her Dad thinks she loves it when she is the only swimmer in the pool and complete strangers are cheering for her! (really they just want the meet to be over)
Cam came this week!! the kids have been waiting for Cam and Mary to move here since Cam first said he would like to get a job here, no really-at the mere mention of the idea they would find houses for sale (of course in our subdivision!!) for them to buy. we will be glad when Mary and Hudson are here!!
The past few weeks have been busy helping with the sandbagging efforts that have been going on very near us. although we would not be effected by any flooding, many were and Shane spent a lot of time as a member of the Bishopric helping out with that!
